Self-Watering Plant System

The Self Watering plant system was a collaborative project between myself and Brad Tinmouth. After seeing Brad's work, I met him at an opening and expressed a desire to work with him. A week later, he had me in his basement studio workshop explaining the microcontrollers we would use to make everything work.  

The self-watering plant system is essentially exactly what its name states. The system analyzes hydration levels within the plants soil and waters accordingly. It can be re-programmed to change how much water it gives the plant, and how long the plant should be allowed to dry out for.  

This piece was shown in the Spring-Break art show in New York along with many other pieces Brad had on display with it.
